The Storm

The grey clouds raced overhead, but gave no opening for the sun's rays to burst through. In the dull light, the whitewashed houses sucked the life out of the marshlands surrounding the quiet village of Whitetail.

A driving wind ripped up and blew the autumnal leaves into Matthew's face. He shook them off and returned to stoically watching over the vilage green. A parcel was supposed to be here well over half an hour ago. But no doubt were the winds proving a problem for any and all pegasi out in the skies across Equestria. Matt however was only going to forgive that for another ten minutes.

His attention suddenly moved to a silhouette shifting across the village green.

Sun Sparkle was trotting towards the other pony yelling. "Is the mail here yet? is it here?!" Sun was a pony with a single eye the other eye covered in a white patch most of the time she would wear glasses with one side having black lens to block view of the patch. But it was so windy she lost her glasses a mile back. On the ponies back was a large box nearly the size of herself. Finally she got to the other pony and she put the box down with a resounding thud and Sun Sparkle sat there gasping for air from running and lugging around a large box. "Jeez wish I had a house..." She said looking at the storm.

Matt watched the eccentric pony huff and puff her way over towards him, unsure as to what to say. This sudden arrival was unexpected, but he knew that it was meaningless in the end. He would just take his parcel and leave. After a bit of small talk if it was absolutely necessary.

"You use Royal Couriers too? Nah, they haven't arrived yet, I'm just waiting for a parcel..."

His eyes didn't leave the oversized box the whole time.

Sun Sparkle smiled softly and said. "I gotta wait for an ammo replenish..." She said opening the box to show it was only half filled with nerf darts. "Since my horn shattered I have to find a new catalyst for my magic so I used enchanted darts. Instead of getting head aches" She said ducking a flying branch as she said. "Although head aches are the least of my worries if this storm gets worse and I dont find shelter." She said sitting down now waiting. Being a new arrival with nothing on her person means she has no house nor a means to get one.

Glding through the skies with wings so bright that not even the harsh winds could stop this pony. The wings of this pony seemed to spread out like a butterfly but never got wet in the rain. They looked more like bright green daimond flying through the air. The daimonds sorrounded a Emerald green filly with a mane as white as snow and the style of Rarity and a tail like Twilght's which gave this mysterious look. If you looked closely, she seems to be carrying another pony holding his unconscious body with ease.

Matt had almost given up when the green spot appeared on the black skies.

"You horn shattered, you say? Not something I've heard happen. Not that I'm an expert or anything..." he finished with a nervous laugh.

The emerald pony effortlessly drifted towards them and swooped down to make a landing on the village green.

Matt panicked when he saw this pony was carrying a limp body on her back. As she came in to land, he raced toward them, forcing his way through the driving winds.

The diamond shaped wings began to disappate as she flapped her wings to land. A small fox doll sat at the top of the out cold royal courier's "You know its not safe out here"The doll said. The green filly nodded her eyes shielded by thr cybernectic visor on her face. "We need to find some shelter this pony is hurt badly."

"HEY! You all right?!" Matt cried as he drew nearer.

The limp body on the pegasus' back was the courier.

"Where the hay did you find him?"

Surai Turned to the pony yelling and running toward her she quickly jumped back and swung her wing toward him, launching out shards of her wing which landed in front of him and stopped him in his tracks. "Surai!! Stand down He's not a hostile!" The fox doll jumped off the courier and in front of Surai "You can't just attack everyone because they their coming your way"

[Gummy]

Gummy walked idly past the strange scene, wearing a top hat. He was late for a party.

A black alicorn approaches and stares at the shards of wings then looks an the two ponies involved then diverts his attention to the fox doll and nods
