LAST UPDATED: 05/07/2012.

After another month of planning and help from several other people, the next Scottish Edinburgh brony meet up will be held on Saturday 14th of July! The last one was a great success and hopefully this one will be even better!
Here are the main features of the meet up:

A rented function room at the Meadows Bar, Buccleuch Street in Edinburgh, (rented by Quill of Manehattan.), where we will watch episodes from the show and fan made videos!

---Affordable food and drink avalible from the Meadows Bar. (if your a student, bring your card as you'll get a student discount.)

---An MLP related quiz!

---The chance to show off your artwork and anything else that you’d like to show off! (fan made plushies, cosplays, covers of FiM songs, anything.)

---Karaoke sing alongs to FiM’s best songs from season 1 and 2!

---We will also being doing out own version of the popular BBC Radio 4 quiz panel show Just a Minute! However, this will have a pony theme to it.Incase you are unsure of what Just a Minute actually is, heres a video example from the show when, taken from the first episode of it's BBC Two speical edtion, when it was broadcast on TV for two weeks:

We are currently looking for panelist's for the show, so if you are interested, then ask us in the email addresses below.

The function room is booked from Noon to 10pm, so the initial meet up time is at 10:30am and the meet up point is at the same place as last time; the Livingstone monument right next to the Scot monument (pictures follow if unsure of location).

This makes it easy for those getting the bus or train into town to meet at a place that’s unmissable.

The Meet:
Sandy (WhatWhat) will wait at the Scott Monument for a total of 30 minutes for everyone to gather. Then he will walk you all to the Meadows Bar along on Buccleuch Street. It’s about a 15 minute walk. Where Quill of Manehattan and Soundcheck will have everything set up.

Keep checking back for anything new involving the meet up. If anyone else has ideas they would like to contribute, please contact me at sandy.mccunn@hotmail.co.uk or the co-organiser at QuestionQuill@hotmail.co.uk or you can talk through Skype username ‘IForgetHowToRead’ (yes its real).

As we get closer to the date, more updates will be posted here, so check back often for the latest information on the meet.

On more thing, a couple of important information here:

---Please do not bring your own alcohol. Brining alcohol into a licenced bar is aginst the law.

--We have not set an age limit and although under 18s are allowed in the fuction room, they are not allowed in the bar. To be on the safe side, if you are over 18 but don't look it, bring your ID (such as British (or your own nation's passport if your not British) to prove you are over 18.)

(Information for people who are not British but attending the meet: The legal age to drink alcohol in Scotland is 18 and the legal age to smoke tobaco is 16. Under 18s are not allowed in bars (the function room is alright, though.)).

---Brining your own food is allowed, but it can only be consumed after 18:00. This is when the Meadow's Bar kicthen closes. Before 18:00, we are encouraged to buy food from the bar.

To recap:
Arrive at Scott Monument at 10:30am.
The group will then walk to the Meadows Bar.

Thanks and We hope to see you at the meet up on the 14th of July!

Is cosplay okay this time around? I'd love to be able to give it a shot, but i'm not too sure if i'd bother if no-one else will be...

Hopefully I can get along to this one, seeing as I missed the last meetup! :D

Aw, the date's already confirmed? That's a shame as I already have plans for that weekend, so I'm not sure if I can make it

Looks lots of fun - I think the Meadow Bar is a good choice. I've used their function room before (though quite some time ago) - even if there are 30+ of us it won't be cramped.
You say bring own food or drink if preferred, though I assume this is for eating outside? I doubt the bar would be too happy giving us a free function room and eating our own stuff in there!

NB: This event has also been posted on UK of Equestria, and generated quite a few comments there.

Hello! I'm registering just to say that barring unforeseen circumstances, I will definitely be there! (I wanted to go to the last meetup but was too nervous. ^^; ) I only have a few bronies in my life (two of whom are related to me) so I'm really excited to meet others. :)

(My boyfriend is giving me a lift, so he might come along for a little bit, at least if that's all right. He's not a brony, but he's still lovely.)

I could also go for giving Pony a Minute, or Just a Pony, or what have you, a go. Unless you already have enough people for that. I'm not fussy. :)
